Physical Properties Of Freon Refrigerant

Freon is generally a gas or liquid at normal temperature, transparent, low dielectric constant, high critical temperature, and easy to liquefy.

Solubility: Freon and water are almost completely insoluble in each other and have very little solubility in water. Generally soluble in frozen oil, but at high temperatures, Freon will be decomposed from the frozen oil. Therefore, there are heaters in the fuel tanks of large chillers, which are kept at a certain temperature to prevent the dissolution of Freon.

Boiling point: The number of chlorine atoms in the molecule increases, the boiling point increases; the number of fluorine atoms increases, and the boiling point will decrease.
